An honest number
Space freed is counted by checking what actually left your phone, not by adding up what you asked to delete. If a figure is an estimate, it says so.

Questions, answered.
No. Your photos, videos, thumbnails, filenames and locations never leave your phone. SwipeBin only sends counts, such as how many items you've deleted and how much space that freed. The privacy policy lists every single thing.
Only when you confirm. Swiping left marks a photo. When you're ready, you review everything you marked, un-mark anything you want to keep, and confirm. Your phone then shows its own deletion prompt. Nothing is deleted before that.
On iPhone, deleted items go to the Recently Deleted album in Photos for 30 days, and the space comes back when that album is emptied. If iCloud Photos is turned on, deleting from your library also removes the item from iCloud and your other Apple devices. That is how Apple's Photos works.
On Android, items are removed from your phone's storage through the system prompt. Copies in a separate backup service are managed by that service.
SwipeBin shows it before you confirm and counts it again afterwards, including only what actually left your phone. On iPhone, items stored only in iCloud take up little space on the phone, so they're shown separately and not counted as space freed on your device.
The free version gives you 100 swipes a day. The allowance resets once a day at 00:00 UTC, and the app shows you the exact time in your own time zone. Undoing a swipe gives it back. Reviewing and deleting what you've already marked never uses up swipes. Pro removes the limit.
No. Pro is a once-off purchase through the App Store or Google Play. It doesn't renew and it doesn't expire. If you get a new phone, use "Restore a previous purchase" in the app.
No. SwipeBin works the moment you open it. You can add an email later if you want to sign back into the same account, for example on a new phone. It's optional.
You can undo any recent swipe, and un-mark anything on the review screen, right up to the moment you confirm. After you confirm, SwipeBin can't bring a photo back. On iPhone you can still recover it from Recently Deleted for 30 days.
